CHEAT SHEETH

GeneralThe script uses an equally-tempered major scale (sort of) with c3 defined as cycle_sound_speed 1 at a cycle_speed of 1. Each field represents 1/8 of a second. Output is given as a delay_command list; expect the beat to be more or less bumpy.
NotesValues are c, c#, d, d#, e, f, f#, g, g#, a, a#, b (or h) followed by a number that indicates the octave (0 to 8). Blank fields simply prolong the last note, x stops the sound. Example tune:

Sonata facile (KV 545, excerpt)
OptionsStop/restart cycle: sets cycle properties to defined values before writing sound data (to avoid pitch fluctuation).

Import/Export: load or save by copying text from/to a backup file.

ins/del: double or delete single fields by putting plus or minus in them and clicking this button.

copy/swap/move/clear: Format is [command][line1][line2]. Click "OK" to execute.
  • copy: copies line1 to line2.
  • swap: swaps line1 with line2.
  • move: moves a block from line1 to the end so that it starts in line2. When moving down, data pushed beyond the last line are lost.
  • clear: deletes all from line1 to line2 (inclusive).

undo: reverts the last action (and only the last).
